PQA/Packaging Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain acceptable packaging performance in order to keep product integrity, quality, people OHS & Environment through proper supplier development and innovation, support key quality assurance objectives relevant to process capability, food safety and risk assessment.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Packaging
Conduct an annual supply risk assessment in coordination with packaging team.
Develop/execute risk-based engagements plan with the suppliers.
Arrange, conduct, and report supplier audits.
Coordinate and execute authorization testing for new or modified packages.
Investigate and troubleshoot pack defects, ensure supplier CAPA are effectively requested/implemented to prevent recurrence.
Revise packaging related internal documents for adequacy and compliance to applicable requirements.
Upload packages/their suppliers’ data to PICASSO for authorization and data completion.
Establish and maintain a technical communication network with suppliers for prompt interference / collaboration.
Develop, track and communicate TIPs for new package introductions or modifications for either technical or commercial reasons and lead its implementation.
Monitoring and controlling packaging materials Certificates of Analysis/Conformance in coordination with Lab.
Support Operations on day-to-day packaging related activities.
Ensure CPS operational/QFS requirements are clearly communicated to suppliers as basis for specifications. Ensure supplier compliance. Verify specs fitness for purpose.
Coordinate packaging sustainability initiatives implementation as part of packaging global network team.
Process Quality Assurance
Monitor Temperature/RH compliance to applicable requirements for both inbound/outbound items.
Contribute/lead problem solving sessions for product related non-conformance
Conduct/report scored GMP plant performance
Track and measure process capability indicators for both liquid and dry part resources e.g.: CpK, PpK.
Job Requirements
B.SC Engineering, Science, Pharmacy or equivalent
At Least One year of related experience
Technical packaging experience.
Projects management skills.
Strong negotiation, follow-up, and presentation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literacy (SAP Q Notes, MS applications, PICASSO, Windows platform) is a plus
Environment general knowledge.
Food safety & Process quality basic knowledge, e.g. GMP, Process capability, SQC.
